The following results were obtained during chemical analysis: In the course of one year the following chemical substances are released into the river Sava.

The results of
the biological analysis show that the biodiversity of the ecosystem has
been threatened. The number of plants and animals is decreasing, whereas
the number of coli – bacteria is increasing.
The diagram shows the increase of coli – bacteria
from the source downstreams, which is caused by various pollutants in
originating from the urban areas.
The report on coli – bacteria is in accordance with the
chemical analyses. To diminish or even to completely eliminate Man`s
adverse effect on the environment, it is necessary to enhance Man`s
awarness and conscience, to make him realize that the environment in which
he lives depends on him as well as that his life depends on this very
environment.
