 The Real Upper Secondary School of the Frunzensky District was opened in 1994. This school is for pupils of final forms? Who wants to get basic preparation as well as to pass a course of professional studies.
Many skeptics identify the Real School with VTC (Vocational Technical Col-lege), but it`s wrong. It differs from VTC. For instance the Secondary school1s pro-gram is reduced not for a single hour as it is in case with VTC, and it is even some-times extended in contrast with average schools. For example, at the specialty named "Secretary reviewer" there are six hours of English language a week, and on the spe-cialties of technical profile hours on mathematics and physics are extended.
Our school is young, but very progressive. It has already become famous throughout the city.
So, besides common subjects, such as literature, Russian, history, chemistry, physics, algebra, geometry, trigonometry and English, the pupils of our school can get the knowledge of profession.
The Real School offers a number of profiles such as economist-manager, tailor-designer, programmer-operator, secretary-reviewer, preschool education` s specialist, assistant of a school psychologist, lawyer-assistant.
It is clear, it isn`t easy to study her, because one must study a lot, but it`s very interesting to study in this school. Subjects are taught very well. We fell that teachers work with heart. There are no subjects, which would be boring.
And our teachers are special. They work with love and understanding. They carry out interesting Olympiads, show films on their subjects and make many efforts to give us good education. Our teachers teach us to be self-supporting. And every morning they greet us with smiles and jokes.
The school is filled up with the most modern equipment: computers, printers, faxes, telephones and many other supplements, which are necessary for the best studying. There is a video-room, a sport-room, and a library. Here all is cozy and clean.
"Green" floors, free special rooms attract to self-pupils. In winter at school very warmly, and in summer it save from heat.
During the passed years of working the pedagogical collective of the school en-gaged itself in the contest of pedagogical achievements and became a Laureate of "the School of the Year" in 1995, 1996 and 1997 for it's pedagogical experience, creative search and for the high results in teaching and in training of pupils.
Try to find any other VTC in the city, which has it's own hymn, sign or high - day Each speciality has it's own slogan.
The school has it's day - the Realist day, which is celebrated on the on the third of November. On this day the eleventh form pupils initiate the tenth form pupils into the Realists. What is it like? The leader of the celebration reads the Realist`s Law-book, which is solemnly taken by the pupils. The tenth form pupils carry out some given to them. Ex-Realists also visit this celebration.
